An immersive performance, Angry Ocean explores the powerful cyclical pattern of the ocean’s tide as a metaphor for human experiences: the relationship of internal struggle with community support, and the push pull of oppression and revolution.
A dancer enters the stage tangled in lengths of fabric as Three dancers tread cautiously around the perimeter, slowly untangling her. The dancer rises into the air, as her gown floods the entire space, like a tidal wave.
